Senior Java Developer / Software Engineer (Java J2SE Concurrency Distributed Systems TDD). FTSE 250 web based trading organisation is seeking a senior, hands-on Java Developer with strong multi-threading skills to design and develop high volume, low latency distributed trading applications.
As a senior Java Developer you'll focus on backend work with leading edge Java technologies such as Oracle Coherence, Spring, JMS and JMX working across the full software development lifecycle from architecture and design through to testing.
Collaborative team atmosphere; you'll be working with passionate technologists in a technology driven environment. Stylish City based offices with a software house atmosphere, smart casual dress code and a good work / life balance.

Requirements:
-Advanced core Java backend development experience
-Experience with distributed, concurrent, multi-threaded programming for high volume, low latency applications
*Collaborative team member, keen to learn and share knowledge with others
*Degree educated, Computer Science preferred
*Nice to haves: Spring framework, cross platform development experience, Linux, In Memory Data Grid concepts, Kafka messaging
As a Senior Java Developer you can expect to earn a highly competitive salary (to £75k) plus bonus and benefits.
